Yesterday Jenna pulled up to standing!!!! Go girl go! On the bookshelf, on the bathtub, and on the couch! She amazes me! Sometimes I look at her and can't believe that she was ever a teeny little infant who loved to be swaddled into mummy-hold submission. She is so busy and happiest when she can cruise the house at full speed stopping to play with everything in her path. If you are not watching closely... the next thing you know she is in Annika's room playing with her toys, or in the bathroom playing with (I know it's disgusting) the toilet brush, don't all children have that fetish? Anyway, I love her to pieces, the pretty little thing.
Yesterday I wrote down all some of the things that Annika said throughout the day to capture her use of dual (or more) word phrases. Enjoy:
Mommy awake
Jenna asleep
kitty poops (as Daddy scoops the litter box)
rice crispies (what do you want for breakfast?)
frog away
ball down
yucky garbage
arms cold sweatshirt (as she runs to get one from her drawer)
hi frog! (she's obsessed with this rubber frog Robyn found in a parking lot, he's missing a leg, but she is not biased)
balls two yellow (loves to put golf balls in her pockets)
move please (scoot over so I can sit in your chair with you)
doggie chair eat (proceeded to "feed" her doggie)
shoes Marcus (garage sale find from the Dodsons)
pants pee new dry (needed a diaper change)
choo-choo long (made a train of cars)
one two three
hide seek
Bogey hides (she loves to go behind the chair in Jenna's room, one time she found Bogey hiding there)
zoom car Daddy's bye (she likes to wave good bye to Daddy & watch the cars zoom by our house)
