Fall With the Girls :)

I love fall. And I love how many others love fall too! Pumpkin flavored food, rain that makes the grass so green, warmth inside & cold outside, crisp days & hot-tubbing on cold nights, the leaves, the pumpkins, family dinners & games. There is always something to be thankful for!

A couple of weeks ago my Mom & I took the girls out to Lone Pine Farms to visit the goats and play on the playground (they are just a few minutes for Mom & Dad's house). Annika was not sure about these goats, but Mom and I thought they were being HILARIOUS!!! The triplets, begging for food pellets :) Haa haa- it made me want one really bad! They are so fat and their legs are so stubby, AND their beards!!! (They are making me laugh right now!!!) But, then I realized how much they poop. I think we have enough poop to clean up already.
They joys of being a mother- I LOVE that I can be a kid again and no one questions my sanity- they just think that I am being a good mommy. God is so smart- he knew that I was not done playing!!!

We had a large gathering for Dad's 50th birthday, lots of friends and family came to celebrate and see people we haven't seen in awhile.
Dad & his family:
More family :) So glad to see them all, and of course, it was too short!

PUMPKIN CARVING:
We grew our own pumpkins this year and I am sure that we will continue to do so. As the girls get older they will really enjoy watching their pumpkin grow, choosing it from the beginning. Annika loved the guts...
... so much so, that she proceeded to taste them. We let her, what's the harm? I told her after she had a big blob in her mouth that she can spit that out if she wants, "you don't have to eat that". She spit it into the bowl, never actually eating any, just tasting it, checking it out. Now though in this picture she has it on her face. She also has been obsessed with this piece of bubble wrap for days now. Carrying it around with her. Stopping all of the sudden to take off her socks and stomp the thing until she gets some of the bubbles to pop. While carving I asked her if she wanted me to make a happy face or a scary face? She wanted a scary face, but then when I was done, she didn't like him as much as she thought she would. She wanted him happy. I told her, "look he is happy, he's smiling, he's scary and happy!" Whatever, it worked. She likes him.

What was your favorite activity at 8 1/2 months old??? Bet it wasn't picking pee-pee reward stickers off the toilet seat to eat them! I love her!!!!

Yesterday I had a mini photo shoot with the girls. Leaves :)
