Bathroom Tales:

A: Pee pee yes! (runs to the bathroom)
M: You have to go pee pee? Let's go!
A: Pants watch, Nenga watch (pulls off pants and panties)
(Jenna zoom-crawls following, excited that she MIGHT get to touch the toilet water)
M: Are you going to go potty on the big toilet, or the little pink potty chair?
A: Baby potty (sits down)
M: Good job getting your pants off Annika.
A: (starts peeing) See pants? (in her sweet high-pitched child's voice)
M: See how we go pee pants? Now you know how.
A: See panties? See Nenga? See Mommy?
M: I do see how you go pee. Nice job!
A: See wall? (Finishes peeing) Wipe now.
M: Ok, here's some toilet paper. Wipe the front. Good.
A: Bottom
M: Ok, you're going to wipe your bottom too? Good job. Put the paper in the potty.
A: Flush now.
M: (Pours the pee into the toilet) Ok. Flush it away.
A: BYE PEE!
M: Bye bye pee pee (Rinses potty and puts back while keeping Jenna away from the slamming toilet seat)
A: Wash hands now!
M: Yep. Climb up on the stool. (To the tune of Row Your Boat) "Wash, wash, wash your hands. Wash them every day. Scrubby, scrubby, scrubby, scrubby, wash the bubbles away"
A: Soap (finishes washing)
M: Ok. Dry off your hands with the towel. Dry off the counter too.
A: Sticker now.
M: Let's put your panties back on then you can have your sticker. Do you want your pants on too?
A: No.
M: Alright, here's your sticker. What color would you like? Red, blue, silver, green, or gold?
A: Red. (no favorites, it's different every time)
M: Excellent choice. Are you going to put it on the toilet or your potty seat?
A: Right here. Next to blue. (Runs off to play)
