Cookies & The Park

The girls like to sit here at the counter to watch me prepare meals and snacks. I love it too because they can see what I am doing and are not tripping me by holding my legs and whining that they can't see.

Who doesn't like a good "tookie"????

We live just a few minutes bike ride from a park and the girls love the sand and the slide and the swings and the... well all the things :)

Jenna was so funny this particular day. She was obsessed with picking up any trash that she could find. Here she has a Dutch Bros lid, aka: sand scooper. Our girls are ALWAYS sandy! We have a sand box in the back yard too, so you can imagine. It's like we live at the beach.

Go Mommy go! Mommy's so cool. Someday Jenna will be able to ride with her and I might have to grow up.

We also love the playground at the Gateway Mall. Now that it is sunny we won't go there as often, but when it was rainy for so long we had to get out.

Jenna going down the big slide. Notice the pony tails? First time. She loves the slide and can climb up the stairs and go down all by herself.

Annika is so funny about the "park" (she means indoor playground). Anytime that we are in any store, the grocery store, the hardware store, she asks, "we go to the park now?"
