We went to the North Jetty in Florence (again!!!!) last Monday. When Robyn has to work a coming weekend he gets that Monday off to even up the hours. We try to do something fun as a family on those Mondays and we cannot resist the Oregon Coast!

There was a ship next to the jetty (on the bar side) that we were able to watch for a long time. We think that they were waiting for the tide to go back up so they could get out of the bay; it was low tide when we got out onto the sand. The ship finally made it's way out into the ocean~ it was cool to watch.

We set up our blanket way up on the dry sand next to a wind block fort that someone had built and Jenna walked all the way down to the wet sand holding my hand through all the deep deep dry sand. When she got to the wet sand she RAN everywhere! She was cracking me up!!!! Having the time of her life! Look at her little fists :) Go baby go!

Kimball family's toes:

We took a rest after all that running. All four of us laid down on the blanket to rest which was nearly always half buried in the sand.

Thank you Lord for the beauty you have created in the waves, sand, & sky. Thank you for another glorious day on the Oregon Coast! You are the ultimate artist.
