Saturday in September

This last Saturday Robyn, my dad, and Grandpa Kimball went crabbing/fishing up in Winchester Bay while us girls went to Lone Pine Farms for some fun.

Annika and I had a good conversation about how people have round pupils and the goats have rectangle ones~ a topic that I find particularly humorous! She loved to feed the goats and sheep. Plus, you gotta love days when your three-year-old pics out her own non-coordinating outfit~ they always seem to be days when you know there will be a lot of pictures, a blog day you might call it~ but what can you do?! :)

Jenna liked to feed the goats too.

I think this picture is hilarious! Who is the picture of anyway?!

After feeding the goats the girls got to play on the playground, which they both love. Jenna says, "park. park."
We also saw the cows and the koi fish in their pond, bought some yummy food, stopped at two garage sales, cracked the girls their first hazel nuts, and took a nap.

After nap Daddy and the two grandpas came back with their loot of crabs. Annika was fascinated, and Bogey stayed nearby- hoping she might get a taste. (Notice Jenna's toesies?)

Jenna wanted to tap a shell to see how hard it was. Then she was done and went inside to play with Gramma's Polly Pocket dolls. A sign of a difference between our tom-boy and a future girlie-girl?

Annika however, stayed out there with the boys through all of it. Cleaning and boiling. Didn't phase her. They both loved the crab meat.

The girls love to swing in Gramma's swing. They were fighting about talking turns so I convinced them to share the swing. They thought this was great- neither one had to get out to let the other one have a turn. What a novel idea. :)
